The Fountain Valley Tennis Center has been selected SCTA Member Organization of the year by the Southern California Tennis Association, the Fountain Valley Recreation and Community Services Division announced Feb. 22.

FVTC was recognized for their efforts in promoting the sport of tennis at all levels of the game. Additionally, FVTC was honored for the organization's leadership and expertise while assisting in the programs conduced by the Southern California Tennis Association, as well as other Tennis organizations.

FVTC was also honored for the favorable example which enhanced the level of their program and has provided today's players with an environment in which they can compete and excel. FVTC, in conjunction with the Fountain Valley Recreation and Community Services Division, continues to promote a healthy lifestyle by creating community and quality of life through people, parks and programs.

The award will be presented on Monday, March 7, at the Southern California Tennis Association Annual Meeting in the Straus Clubhouse on the UCLA Campus.
